We live off the grid in Central Victoria, Australia and although our world is comparativly safe here, there is still a need for people to think about being self reliant, because you just never know what is around the corner.

This topic also got my attention very quickly at the old property and I learned allot very quickly about what pumps can do what , how much power some use and what pumps don't break down as often as others.

We live on an actual dig patch that the Chinese worked around 160 years ago . We have a couple of 3-4 meter shafts as well as a million shallow hand dug holes scattered around the property.

Hi, at our first off grid property we had adventured into Hydroponics with a reasonable sized set up using non circulating systems , using buckets and pipes .
We had pretty dam good results that amazed us both !
