Off the Grid Wellness Supplements

Published by admin on 28-Jun-2018 15:40 (291 reads)

This information was originally posted onto our Facebook Group, but we felt that it was helpful enough that we included it in an article here.

This first part was written by Steve....

Living off grid does mean more to most than just the solar power .. We are now home made PILL POPPERS !!! :- )

Myself and Kerri have and still do try to replace more than just the grid power. Any time we can, we replace the need to rely on many other things from external sources, as some may have seen from us..

Food is a biggie for us like many here and food including bottling , drying , storing has many components to it as most that do it know ...

We eat pretty well and try to stay relatively healthy as best we can ...

This week I got our latest extension to this issue of health and food going ... Home production of pills to store all Kerri's dried greens into tiny power packed pills ..

So ...We are now officially pill poppers !!!! I did our first batch of pills today ...

This batch was not the green powders that we will begin to do shortly , but B17 Bitter Apricot Seed Extract 20:1...
B17 if you are interested can be looked up on google or spew tube ... lost of info about it , we are not doctors lolol

This stuff costs like poison if you just run to the shop to buy it ...I made 200 "0" size capsules today from 100 Gms of concentrate ... normally around $300 - $350+ ( for 100 grams of made up pills)
, but ours ran us about $75 bucks for the lot ...

Living Off the grid and self reliance goes hand in hand .
A small out lay for 2 little cheap loaders 1 X "00"size 1 X "0"size and some organic gelatin capsules, a little bag of raw B17 concentrate and we now have a years supply of a great supplement for a fraction of the cost ...

We will be making quite a few different brews to pop in pills over the next few weeks or so ....

Might be something for you to look at perhaps as a way to use your excess dried foods ect

cheers Steve and Kerri :- )

This second part was my response, after a few replies from other group members.........

Yes as Steve said, we are now pill poppers lololol. I love that we take our wellness into our own hands. The B 17 is a newey for us and it'll be interesting to see what we think of it. We aren't going to take a lot of it, we are planning on 1 capsule a couple of times a week as we are using as a way of getting this vitamin that is deficient in most of us into our system, rather than as a cure for anything, as we don't currently have anything to cure.

The other capsules that we are going to use, are green powder which is made up of all the green plants we have in our garden. My Green Powder is a super food, lol as it has a variety of different foods included. We are also making up the turmeric and black pepper capsules which are awesome as anti inflammatories. We don't have arthritis but this may be due to the fact that we do these types of foods regularly.

In this post there has been quite a few references to CBD. I really want to say that yes CBD is apparently awesome, I have never tried it myself, being that it has been a bit controversial and not readily available and very expensive from what I have heard. What I do have though as an alternative which from all my research is actually BETTER, is the Copaiba oil. It is 100% legal and even has more of the BCP's, that are the active components than CBD. It contains NONE of the properties that will cause psychoactive responses and it is way way more economical to buy too. So my question is why do people continue to push the CBD when there is a better alternative?

Here is a link to where to buy Copaiba Oil. You can buy it at wholesale prices for just $52.00 like I do. https://www.mydoterra.com/offthegridinoz/#/ Unlike the CBD oil that seems that you can only get it on the black market, or so it seems because people are asking for PM's so that they can tell you where to get it from, which seems a little dubious to me. Sorry if I offended anyone with that statement.

In my opinion, food is medicine. We have found from personal experience that we can stay really well, by just being conscious of what we are putting into our bodies and being knowledgeable about how to support our bodies to do heal itself. Being self reliant in this regard, is part of our Off Grid lifestyle.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article. cheers Kerri
