What Communications gear to get?
Published by admin on 30-Jan-2017 18:55 (1642 reads)If we, or you are unlucky enough to get caught up in a disaster scenario or any situation where the normal Telecommunications networks including the Internet go down ,Tv transmissions cease , then the feeling of being alone will set in very quickly ! and not knowing what it going on is going to cause you to not be able o make clear and thought out decisions .
Within our prepper gear, we have addressed this issue on a few levels .
Both our 4x4 vehicles have std CB Radios and one has a 3 band AM / FM UHF one as well.
To cater for being stranded , we also have a pair of high power hand held 2 band radios with built in FM .
These will allow us to have the best chance to listen in and hear about any developments that may be occurring locally and around the world.
