Our ideas, Detector and gear .
Published by admin on 25-Jan-2017 16:07 (1944 reads)We live on an actual dig patch that the Chinese worked around 160 years ago . We have a couple of 3-4 meter shafts as well as a million shallow hand dug holes scattered around the property.
Although we are rather new to gold detecting,mainly due to other prioritized projects .
We have found one good 2 gram nugget only 30 meters from our home site so far, in only a couple of short bursts detecting.
Our preferred Detector after much research is the Minelab Gpx-4500 pictured below ... And yes Minelab do have newer models that cost an arm and a leg ... From many reports the newer models are not that much better considering the huge cost of them...
