We live off the grid in Central Victoria, Australia and although our world is comparativly safe here, there is still a need for people to think about being self reliant, because you just never know what is around the corner.

If you are like Steve and I, you will no doubt have a preppers mentality. What I mean by this, is that we like to 'prep' for tough times. You never know what is around the corner. We have survived natural disasters here and we understand the need to be prepared. I have talked about this...

Living off the Grid in my opinion, as I have said many many times, is all about being as self reliant as possible in ALL aspects of my life.
I like to know that we are in control of our own survival. That's why we manage our own power needs, our own water needs and as far as possible...
